Jewellery
Stock that is weighed, not just counted.
A jeweller needs to know the metal, the purity and the weight of every piece, and how much raw gold is in the safe to the milligram. The Jewellery template tracks finished pieces individually and raw metal by weight, with the fields jewellers write down every day.

What you can do today
Every piece on its own
Each ring or chain is a unit with its own weights and record, so you can find exactly which one was sold.
Raw metal by weight
Stock and sell raw gold or silver in grams or tola; quantities keep three decimal places.
Filter by metal and purity
Metal, purity and gross weight show in the product table and can be filtered.
Counts and audit trail
Stock counts go through a review before stock changes, and every movement stays in the ledger.
What it doesn’t do
Worth knowing before you start. If one of these rules it out for you, tell us; it helps us decide what to build next.
- Prices are set per item; DataItemize doesn’t fetch daily metal rates or reprice from them.
- Making charge and wastage are recorded, not added to the price automatically.
- There is no old-gold exchange or karigar (job-work) tracking.
